The athletics association launches full membership for athletes.

May 6th : The Athletics Association today launched the full membership package for current and former athletes with a focus on mental wellbeing.

The Athletics Association, an independent, non-profit organisation formed in 2019 by a group of elite Track and Field athletes, today opened their full membership offering to athletes.

In return for a $50 USD annual subscription members will receive:

  • Complimentary access to Headspace (worth $69.99).

  • Access to exclusive monthly events and classes on a range op topics, including financial literacy, sports psychology and mental wellbeing.

  • The ability to apply for monetary grants (the first awards will be made in October 2021).

  • The ability to apply for a limited number of complimentary Talkspace memberships (worth over $2000 USD).

  • Substantial and exclusive discounts to industry-leading career transitioning courses supplied by Athlete Biz and The Athlete Advantage.

  • Regular updates and dialogue about developments in Athletics and their voice represented by an body committed to the long-term interests of athletes.

  • Further benefits, bonuses and opportunities provided by our partners World 1 League when they become available.

President of the Athletics Association, double Olympic champion Christian Taylor, said: “We’ve worked tirelessly to put together a membership package that we think will really help athletes. With access to our monthly classes, a subscription to Headspace and the possibility to apply for grants, we really want to help athletes as they strive to be the best in our sport, a sport that is so demanding on the body and the mind.”

All of the money raised will go back into providing the benefits and monetary grants for the membership.
